A Night of Flamenco Jazz in Sydney, 24th February 2018

Following on from the stellar Cubanoz show on Jan 27…

The Byron Bay Jazz and World Music Club returns for it’s second show for 2018 – Flamenco Guitar Meets Indian Sitar!

Brisbane based North Indian sitar virtuoso Saikat Bhattacharya joins with Northern Rivers based jazz and flamenco guitarist Bart Stenhouse for a night of Flamenco jazz with Indian undertones! Joining them will be local cajon/percussion wiz Hugh Jones, violinist Dominic Radu and renown Australian tabla player Shen Flindell.

The group will be performing evocative and dynamic flamenco inspired jazz and will explore the space that Indian music shares with Spanish flamenco music and jazz.
