Australian College of Trade is a Registered Training Organisation that is closely affiliated with the The Thornbury Theatre. COT’s specialised ‘Centres of Excellence’ deliver customised, nationally accredited training programs that are focused on developing industry partnerships and providing quality practical experience. ACOT’s pedagogy is focused around our Centre of Excellence concept of an RTO run enterprise that delivers ‘industry embedded’ training primarily within its own facility and also in conjunction with local industry.This strategic approach ensures ACOT is uniquely placed to meet the major challenge facing VET – shifting as much training as possible from campus based classrooms to the workplace.
