Festival of Lights Diwali Celebration 2017 in Melbourne, 7th-8th October

Diwali or Deepavali is the an annual festival of lights celebrated every year in autumn in the northern hemisphere.

Enjoy the vibrant entertainment program, workshops and carefully selected food traders representing each nation. This festival celebrates light and the belief that good will triumph over evil.

We invite all fellow nations celebrating this auspicious event where we are inviting cultural performance and cuisine from Fiji, Guyana, India, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Bangladesh and Sindh Province in Pakistan.
