Background

We (me my wife and 3yrs baby) have been staying Australia with 574 visa since August 2008. Unfortunately, my wife failed to meet the course requirement and subsequently her enrollment been cancelled last April. Then we contact DIAC enquiry and they suggested us to submit a new CoE within one month to stay legally in Australia. However, we have managed an offer letter for Masters of Teaching from the Newcastle Uni.
My wife’s educational qualifications include BA (Hons) And Masters (Philosophy) and MPhil (Philosophy) and working experiences include 12 grade level teaching and research.
She is now almost 40 years old.

On the other hand, my educational qualifications include Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) Masters of Business Studies (Accounting) and PGD on Financial Management and one year degree on Secondary Education. My experiences include Teaching (Lecturer and Assistant Professor, Educational policy research and planning and Project Management for 17 years. I am 42 years old.
I have been working at a chicken processing plant as a Halal slaughterer for one and half years.
Nationality: Bangladesh

Enquiry:
1. Can we stay permanently in Australia considering present situation?

2. If my wife finish 2 years Masters program on Secondary Teaching can we apply for PR?

3. What is best option to stay in Australia permanently?

My name is Inder. I was on student visa and i had finished my study in 28th November 2007, i have applied for temporary resident in last December. One of my elder brother is coming from overseas with in one month on permanent resident.I want to clear some question that

can my brother sponsor me when he will come here ?

If yes what documents i need from their side?

with in what time i can applied for Permanent resident?

Or i have to wait for temporary visa first for applied for permanent visa?

i did a trade course for 52 weeks. after that i finished a Cert IV in business management 35 weeks which is closeley related to my trade course. now i am doing Diploma of business management of 35 weeks which is closeley related to my trade course. can i count the weeks of my Cert IV while completing my 92 weeks study requirement, because someone told me that i cannot count cert IV weeks while compleing my 92 weeks study.
