Live at The Spotted Mallard in Melbourne, 22nd September 2017

Kylie will play an intimate show live at The Spotted Mallard on 22/9.

Catch her for two sets, beginning with an acoustic-soul style nod to her earlier albums co-produced and recorded with members of Australian act The Bamboos.

Watch her then raise the roof with an up-tempo electro-soul set including tracks from the new album plus dance hits ‘This Girl’ and ‘Ride of Your Life’.

Kylie Auldist is the soulful voice behind the massive 250 million + views 2016 summer hit This Girl by Kungs vs Cookin’ on 3 Burners and has recently dropped a new single Ride of Your Life, a collaboration with Boy George’s long-time UK based producer Marc Vedo which has itself just clocked 5 million views.

Described by The Music Magazine as “Melbourne’s high priestess of soul”, Kylie’s latest release and fourth solo album Family Tree presents a new direction for the soul star, combining her love of contemporary Electronic Dance Music with influences from the hedonistic, golden age of Disco, Funk and Boogie.

Already praised by the world’s soul and R&B community as an extraordinary talent, Kylie shot to stratospheric prominence when her sublime vocals on the ‘This Girl’ remix reaching #1 in France, Germany and Portugal and #2 on the UK where it sat for 9 weeks.

It took out the #1 spot on iTunes in the UK and many countries throughout Europe, reaching the top 100 in over 50 countries including in the US where it has hit #2 on the electronic charts.

Her fourth album Family Tree took out the 2016 award for Best Album in the funk/soul category at The Age Music Victoria Awards.

She possesses a voice that can run the gamut from soaring vocal pyrotechnics to heart-wrenching tenderness.

Her down to earth, warm but no BS personality permeates Family Tree in the same way as it does her live shows, which are absolutely electric with a huge dose of boogie power. You are definitely invited to the party but you had better be able to keep up!

$25 on the door.
