At Mai Nachungi, learning indian dance is all about having fun. We had in fact started teaching for fun. However, we later realized that there was a need and a thirst for a indian Bollywood dancing school in Melbourne that gave the personal touch that the industry currently lacks. We teach all ages through joy, unity, culture, and happiness throughout the dance floor. Instead of just learning, students incorporate team work, sharing, and learn many traditions as they not only have fun, but improve their fitness.

Pushpa: Choreographer

Her experience as ISKCON Melbourne’s cultural coordinator has give her a unique skill set that allows her to captivate an audience, and make it even easier to learn Bollywood Dancing. She has previous dancing experience in Bharatanatyam, Khatak and Jazz & has also been the director of many drama’s and plays. In all, her dramatic mind and her graceful body bring different dimensions of presentation to different dance forms and their expressions.

Rishi : Dancer

His passion for dancing and his ability to create new dance moves, gives Rishi the ability to immerse an audience into the wonders of dance. Rishi is skilled in Bollywood Dancing, and enjoys watching many Hindi movies, ( to the point where he can actually speak Hindi.) His performances speak for themselves, with spectators often attracted to his boyish smile, and his salsa like dancing moves.

KM: Dancer
“A moving actor, a superlative dancer, & an entertaining character”
Her grace on the dance floor paired with her cool head allows her to perform to the audience’s desire. KM’s grace on the dance floor enthrals audiences of all ages, creating fun and comical shows. She has performed in numerous Bollywood dances, as well as music videos and has possibilities of movies in the near future. She is a brilliant performer.

Amal: Dancer

Amal’s blossoming beauty, and her will to be the best dancer, allows her to give a performance that you will never forget. She enjoys all things Bollywood, spending precious time away from school watching the latest Bollywood flick.
