Here’s an opportunity to take it to the next level, in the supportive and peaceful environment of Mangrove Yoga.
If you can maintain comfortable stillness for 20 minutes, then Level 2 will allow you to go further.
Beyond the relaxation you may already experience is the power to focus and an even greater level of tranquility.
Absolutely concentrated meditation can help reduce deep patterns in the mind which can give rise to basic tensions and reactions.
By attending this weekend you will:
– Learn techniques with which you can increase the duration and depth of your practice.
– Develop your ability to focus, and learn practices and techniques that will open up new realms.
Meditation Level 2 can help you to:
• Be more focused and less prone to distraction
• Be more effective at work
• Be more relaxed at rest
• Release old tension patterns and channel energy to positive activities
This is Level 2 in a series of three courses designed to guide practitioners along a proven path to skillfull meditation.
Meditation Level 2 is suitable for those who have established a regular practice.
Ideally students have developed the components covered in Meditation Level 1 i.e. Can maintain comfort and stillness in a seated position for a minimum of 20 minutes
Are experienced in shifting their awareness from the external environment to the internal environment (pratyahara)
Have knowledge and experience of witnessing their thoughts.
This course is suitable as Professional Development (CPD) for yoga teachers and allied health professionals.
What you will experience when you are here:
• Daily early morning yoga class – a blend of asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha practices
• Daily meditation practice and theory sessions
• Daily Yoga Nidra class
• Evening program, including kirtan (melodic chanting meditation)
• Tranquil national forest, including a walk to the top of the valley’s sandstone cliffs
• Accommodation and all vegetarian meals provided
• Take-home practices
