October Markets in Moree, 1st October 2017

Head to Jellicoe Park and look for something unique, quirky and fresh at the Moree Markets on the first Sunday of each month.

Enjoy the colourful outdoor market scene set amongst shady trees surrounded by grassy parkland.

You will find a variety of treasures, local craft and jewellery, plants and home wares, poultry, sample delectable foods, and buy fresh produce for the table.

There are a variety of children’s activities and places to buy coffee and breakfast. From time-to-time there is local entertainment and music.

It is a great way to start your Sunday morning!

While you are there, enjoy the rose garden, which features a covered pergola area and the variety of trees and natural landscapes contribute to the park’s popularity as a location for wedding photos and naming ceremonies; and take the short walk from the park to the fish ladder and weir, which is located on the north-western side of the park.

New stall holders are always welcome just send a text message to 0487 429 469 with a request for a site (include size), and turn up on Sunday after 6am with a copy of your public liability insurance and you will be allocated a site to showcase your wares.
