“I came in with a friend at around 8am on a Saturday last week after searching the CBD for a place where I could get the most important meal of the day (pre-breakfast coffee). I had high expectations of a place with hipster-y music, out-of-place furniture, heavy foliage, and a chalkboard, and every one of those expectations were met when that sweet, brown, chocolatey (yeah, I get a mocha sometimes, so what?) elixir of life met my mouth.

The top of my takeaway coffee cup had my personal motto ‘coffee is life’ written on it, which makes me think that the lovely dreadlocked girl that made it was psychic, which tells me that this place knows where to find good staff.

Kooky atmosphere, great coffee, would stumble upon again.”

“Took my three kids in for a milkshake and was quite happy with the experience. The milkshakes are quite large and at $13ea its not a cheap venture, my kids of 8 and 9 only got about half way through. Maybe smaller shakes or simpler shake options might be something to think about rather than just the all out crazy milkshakes currently on offer. The milkshakes were insane though, can see where the money goes and why they take quite a while to arrive. If it was busy you could be waiting a long time. I had a coffee and that was good also.”

“The Laneway crew are always inviting not just for me but also my Toy Dog Henry. He loves his bowl of water from the girls…while I love a hearty breakfast washed down with some amazing drink from the menu. Thanks Laneway…I spend more time here at 116 now than I do at 1116 4BC.”

“Great Service, warned us how long it would take to get our meal/drink before we proceeded to order. The wrap was fresh and tasteful. The Salted Caramel Shake, tasted ok although the milk was room temperature which was not so nice, the frappe was juice so probably wouldn’t order that again. Overall we would go back once a bigger variety of shakes are available. Their meal options are great and reasonably priced.”
