Kenny Sebastian is known for his humorous and creative takes on banal everyday situations. Kenny has a keen sense of observation of culture, people and stereotypes, all of which have found its way into his comedy.
A graduate from art school, Kenny dabbled with painting, music and film making with an Editors’ credit on a feature film before he found his true calling with stand-up comedy.
Kenny started his YouTube channel ‘Kenny Sebastian’ in 2008 which shot him to fame with his popular parodies and pop song covers. Today his Youtube channel has over 1.35 million subscribers and over 127 million views.
Kenny has scripted and performed along with a bunch of other well-known comics in The Living Room, India’s first English improv sketch show which is one of the first two local shows in India to go live on Comedy Central. In the last five years, he has performed over 1000 stand-up shows around the world.
In Kenny’s stand-up special, ‘Don’t Be That Guy’, he shares his observations on turning 26 and the rationality behind everyone’s behaviour using humour and music.
His other accolades include his association to ‘The Improvisers’ which is a group of 4 comedians – Kanan Gill, Kenny Sebastian, Kaneez Surka and Abish Mathew.
This is one of the highest rated comedy groups in India and they have gained international recognition. Kenny has also created India’s first sci-fi web series ‘Star Boyz’.
