Prime Minister Narendra Modiji will be inaugurating the world’s tallest statue “STATUE OF UNITY” (Vadodara, Gujarat) with the height of 182 metres (597 ft) on October 31, the birth anniversary of India’s first home minister.
The Statue of Unity is a monument dedicated to Indian independence movement leader Sardar Vallabbhai Patel (popularly known as the ‘Iron Man of India’)
The foundation stone of the monument, a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was laid on October 31, 2013, coinciding with the 138th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabbhai Patel.
