As a special guest of the museum on this day, Ela Gandhi, renowned peace activist and grand-daughter of Mahatma Gandhi will be present.
Born in South Africa in 1940, Ela has continued her grandfather’s activist legacy. She was instrumental in the struggle against apartheid and was one of the members of the United Democratic Front who met with Nelson Mandala shortly before his release from prison.
Curator talks will take place throughout the day as well as traditional performances and of course food!
Babaji’s Kitchen will be serving freshly cooked on-the-spot Dosas, wholesome curries and Indian street food!
