This experiential weekend is a community gathering of kirtan lovers and is about deepening your experience with kirtan as a personal practice. It is open to all, whether a committed kirtanist or those simply curious about yogic sound practices. No experience is necessary to join the weekend, and there are opportunities for beginner and experienced kirtan enthusiasts.
Immerse yourself in these heart-based mantra practices with world-class facilitators while enjoying comfortable accommodation and delicious nourishing vegetarian cuisine.
Included in the program are teachings in:
And… plenty of practice and social time, nourishing vegetarian food made with love, a kirtan on Saturday night, and a Sunday night participant’s kirtan (if you wish!).
This weekend will be led by experienced facilitators in the art of kirtan: Chakra (Chant Baba) from Chant Yoga Kirtan School and well-known Melbourne Kirtanist and facilitator Sun Hyland, plus other guest teachers.
So come along, meet other like-minded (and hearted) people interested in this tradition, share skills and information and be involved in the conscious community of Kirtan Camp.
There will be opportunities to relax and share kirtans with other players from all over the country. In the spirit of karma yoga, there will be options to contribute to the running of the retreat.
Accommodation is comfy ensuite shared rooms with a maximum of 3 people to a room. Workshops will be in Main Hall with breakout rooms available for jamming and private sessions. Candlebark Farm is a lovely quiet venue 1¼ hours from Melbourne in Healesville.
