FINACT and its member associations are organising annual “AusIndia Fair” on 24 March 2018 at Stage 88, Commonwealth Park in Canberra.
The event is aimed to promote and encourage inclusiveness of Indian communities, culture, food, businesses and values in Australia.
The fair is providing an opportunity for wider Australian communities to participate and have a feel of proactive, productive, vibrant and dynamic Indian community.
The event will start at 11.00am with information, food and commercial stalls. The stalls will consist of Indian heritage, ayurvedhic, tourism, traditional food and business ventures etc.
There are many activities to entertain children by setting jumping castle, face painting etc. at the event.
The cultural performances start at 1.30pm on the stage. The theme of the cultural show is Aus-India Fusion that consists of having Aboriginal artists along with Indian Folk, Indian drum along with African drum and many other performances.
From 4.30pm to 6.00pm the dance floor will be opened to the public to dance to the tunes of multicultural instruments.
The outcomes of the fair would improve harmony, bilateral relations and untapped business opportunities for Australian and Indian communities.
