Fields Marked (*) are important
Believed to be written around 500 BC, the Bhagavad Gita is one of the most revered texts in the Hindu religion and also in the Yoga tradition.
Set on a battlefield, the Gita has been interpreted as an allegory for the ethical and moral struggles of human life, and a philosophical manual on how to live, love and serve. Gandhi referred to it as his “spiritual dictionary” and its call for selfless action inspired his leadership. Join us for a taste of the delightful essence and tone of this Sacred Text. We will draw out some of the most beautiful and illuminating practices, teachings and paths that can be brought into our yoga practice and into our lives.
