‘Kundalini means the serpent lying there fast asleep; it has to be awakened. Once it wakes up it starts rising upwards. When it reaches to the ultimate centre of your being, Sahasrar, the last centre, the last rung of the ladder, you have arrived home.’

This is an opportunity to deepen your meditativeness via an active style of meditation, designed by Indian mystic ‘Osho’ called Kundalini Meditation. The meditation is involves elements of shaking, dancing and stillness all with the aim of raising our vital energy to take us to higher possibilities.
The great appeal of Kundalini Meditation is that its scientific approach makes it not so daunting for the modern mind as it isn’t direct traditional sitting style meditation, like vipassana or Zazen.
These forms of meditation can prove quite difficult for the beginner meditator without the correct understanding. However, Kundalini meditation works as great preparation for these styles alongside deepening these practices.
It’s main purpose is to raise vital Kundalini energy which when practiced regularly, creates a blissfulness one can carry in there day to day lives whilst simultaneously burning through our old destructive mind patterns and conditioning.
The Kundalini Meditation Description
The meditation is performed in 4 stages and we’ll be guided by the Osho Kundalini Music Meditation, see below.
Be loose and let your whole body shake, feeling the energies moving up from your feet. Let go everywhere and become the shaking. Your eyes may be open or closed.
Dance… any way you feel, and let the whole body move as it wishes. Again, your eyes can be open or closed.
Close your eyes and be still, sitting or standing, observing, witnessing, whatever is happening inside and out.
Keeping your eyes closed, lie down and be still.
The whole session will last for 2 hours, the first hour being the 1 hour Kundalini Meditation and the 2nd hour we’ll have a sharing circle with some herbal tea. We’ll also all be heading out for lunch together somewhere close by for those who would like to join us.
Ensure that you are wearing light and loose clothes which are comfortable to shake, dance and sit still in.
If you’re having trouble finding the venue, please contact Brendan on 0474 657 455.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Much love
