Afro-Cuban band Babalu formed in the mid 90’s in The Blue Mountains.

This 7 piece group gained popularity playing at the Bacardi Festival in Sydney, High energy dance nights at the Blue Mountains Blues and Roots Festival in Katoomba, and cold weather/hot salsa shows at Winter Magic Festival as a major Blue Mountains annual event.
