Wu Tao – the dancing way to balance and flow
Work with the elements and meridians in this restorative sequence of dances for harmony and joy.
It’s easy to forget what’s really important to us in the midst of a busy life. We all need ways to help us maintain emotional balance, peace of mind AND a healthy body.
Wu Tao is a powerful yet gentle way to achieve this. A unique dance as therapy modality, grounded in the proven system of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wu Tao is an easy and joyful way to bring yourself back to centre.
This 8 week course will be preceded by a bonus week on Thursday August 3, when a free intro workshop will be held. You are invited to bring a friend along!
ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR
Emma Jack is re-discovering the depths of her lifelong passion for dance after the distractions of a desk based lifestyle working in community development for sustainability and behaviour change.
Thanks to the wisdom arising from the body and her mother’s alzheimer’s journey, Emma has immersed herself in dance as a therapy.
Sharing this with others is a great joy – through both a weekly Relaxation and Movement group for people living with Memory Loss and this weekly Wu Tao general public class – dancing the five elements.
