Hello everyone! Welcome to Melbourne Fish Save, were really excited to start making waves for marine life in Melbourne and the fish desperately need your help! Scientists have estimated that our oceans could face being empty by the year 2048, that is a terrifying 31 years away.
This issue is one of the most pressing enviornmental crisis we are facing today.
Melbourne Fish Save will hosting their first ever rally on August 12, at Bourke Street Mall.
This rally will have a strong focus upon outreach – educating the public about the fishing industry and the impact it is having upon our oceans and the life that inhabits it.
If you are not well versed with information about this we will have attached the same PDF that we made avalible for our first vigil it contains loads of information that will be helpful when engaging with the public at the rally.
We will run the rally from 12pm -2pm, it would be great if everyone could arrive around 11.45 for a debrief of how the rally will run, we will have signs there for everyone to hold and will be making a big banner for the event.
