The Council of Indian Australians, is a non-profit community organisation in its seventh year, have been successfully engaging with the community and celebrating multiple festivals and national events every year with the primary objective of promoting Indian cultural heritage, friendship and integration within multicultural Australia.
The India Day Dinner function is a high profile flagship event of CIA as Independence Day is important India’s national event where we remember those who have sacrificed their lives and pay tribute to them.
This day is also about celebrating the growth and progress Indian Australians have made in Australia! Now Indian population is a big force in Australia and both governments realises the importance of connecting with each other!
The Premier of NSW, The Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP has accepted our invitation to be a chief guest at the event. We’re also expecting various political dignitaries from both Liberal and Labour Party attending the event.
The India Day Dinner function is carefully planned where we will showcase India’s journey to freedom with a small play where we will pay tribute to freedom fighters. The Play is being produced by one of the legends of Bollywood.
We’re expecting a very high production value and a very unique program about India’s journey to freedom! In addition to this, there will be multiple latest Bollywood and multicultural performances to showcase diversity and entertain guests.
