We represent the Bengali Society of Queensland a non profit multi cultural organisation with around 300 members from 150 families. We organise several cultural events round the year, please find details about us on www.bsqonline.net.au.
One of our main events is the Durga Puja which is visited by a total headcount of over 2500 people over three days. This is a wonderful opportunity to promote your business.Durga Puja is a prime Bengali festival celebrated for the worship of mother Goddess Durga. Also referred as Sharodotsav, is a popular annual Hindu festival of South Asia. It is one of biggest religious festival celebrated in India which marks the victory of Goddess Durga over the buffalo demon Mahishashur. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil.
This year also we are celebrating Durga puja during 7th to 9th October 2016 at Aspley State School. We will also publish Kashphool, our annual magazine which will be distributed to all members of the society free of cost where you can put your advertisement. A copy will also be provided to all those who would advertise in the magazine.
As you may know our Durga puja celebration, being the only one in Brisbane, is visited by many multicultural people from different origin and background. Last year we recorded about 2500 people visiting us over the three days. There is also option to put up your company banner at the Puja hall. Optionally, we can also display slides about your sponsorship during our cultural evening on 8th October.
