Ayurveda Doctor Rama Prasad – practicing in Melbourne and Australia for 20+ years visiting Elsternwick Melbourne offering complete holistic consultation and support.
Dr. Rama Prasad teaches, presents and practices Ayurveda internationally for over 25 years. Dr. Prasad’s presentation style is an absorbing with pure devotion and a strong sense of logic. He promotes Ayurveda education with science and common sense so that students and practitioners get an accurate understanding of its principles and application. He has organised and has been part of over 2 dozen international Ayurveda and and Yoga conferences in India and Australia. He has identified around 2000 classical Ayurveda herbs in Australia, including many species which are endangered in India.
In his Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne clinics, he specialises in “stress and its effect on the body” and uses effective mind-body treatment techniques. Currently he is working on a number of projects internationally, including an Ayurveda dictionary, an interactive online health training software, a “The Story of Ayurveda” exhibition material and an Ayurveda eco-health farm in Australia.
He is part of a vibrant Ayurveda community with passionate professionals and participants in Australia. When he is back in south Indian village with his 7 year old daughter, he still performs his traditional temple service – helping his mother making Tulsi garlands for their local temple deities.
