As the Supreme Personality, and the Lord of our Hearts, Lord Sri Krishna deserves the best – and that is what we offer at the ISKCON Brisbane Janmastami festival. A dynamic stage program filled with dramas, dances, enchanting kirtan and much more. Activities to enthral all children in our very special kids tent. Sumptuous feasting will mean you get a night off from the cooking! There is something to entertain each member of the family – from grandparents to grandkids – so pack the car, and bring everyone along.
Plus, this year we are celebrating 50th anniversary of ISKCON. Known officially as ISKCON (the International Society for Krishna Consciousness) but more commonly as the Hare Krishna’s, we have achieved a momentous occasion. 50 years since an elderly Indian sadhu (Srila Prabhupada) crossed the Atlantic Ocean in the hopes to share the culture of the East with the people of the West. Millions of vegetarian meals, thousands of spiritual books, hundreds of temples, restaurants, farming communities and schools later – ISKCON is thriving. So we invite you to join us as we begin a year-long celebration.
