9 Kundi Gayatri Yagya in Sydney on 19th June 2016
Community Invitation Karyakartaji : 9 Kundi Yagya on 19th June- 2016 – Gayatri Jayanti
Atmiya – Parijan,
It is said that Hindu Dharma contains many scriptures. The question is often posed: which is the most important scripture in Hinduism? During the Ashwamedh Mahayagya in Brisbane, this very question was put to Shraddheya Dr Saheb. Dr Saheb said that all the scriptures are vital as they teach the art of living. However, to answer the question as to which scripture is the most important, he replied that it is the four Vedas, the foundation of all knowledge.
Vedmata Gayatri is the mother of the Vedas and consequently, she is the mother of all knowledge. Vedmata Gayatri is the confluence of Saraswati, Laxshmi and Kali and she has 24 incarnations (synonymous with the 24 syllables of the Gayatri Mahamantra).
To celebrate the birth of divine knowledge, All World Gayatri Pariwar (Sydney) is delighted to invite you to a nine kund Gayatri yagya (hawan). Details of the programme are in the attached flyer and follow below also.
Please join with us to utter the sacred Gayatri mantra and offer ahutis to Yagya Bhagawan. The atmosphere will be highly spiritually charged through the Vedic mantras chanted throughout the yagya process. Learn about the great science and philosophy of Gayatri and how to incorporate Gayatri worship into your daily practices.
Please forward this email to your family and friend circle and encourage your contacts to attend. We are celebrating Gayatri Jayanti on the actual day that it falls.
All World Gayatri Pariwar (Sydney) would like to invite your participation in a 9 kund Gayatri hawan. The Gayatri Mantra is recognised as the single most important and spiritually uplifting and beneficial Vedic hymn. It is the essence of the Vedas, the four branches of knowledge. Lord Krishna discusses the significance of yagya (hawan) throughout the Bhagavad Gita underscoring how important and essential it is to take the opportunity to participate in it.
