Want to be a part of one of the oldest street parades in the world?
Then join us on the Festival of Chariots street parade on Saturday 7th May from 10:00am. Meet us at Queens Park as we gather to begin this jubilant street procession and bring Brisbane CBD to life with colourful song and dance!
Our massive hand-drawn chariot will traverse through the streets of Brisbane and end in King George Square where a free cultural fiesta awaits everyone from 11am till 4pm.
This year the organisers of the Festival of Chariots (ISKCON) are turning 50, and we’re going to put on an even bigger and better party than last year! So step back in time to experience the culture of the East with Live Music, Market Stalls, Kid’s Activities, Face Painting and Henna, Stage Plays, Cooking Demos, and Delicious Free Vegetarian Meals for everyone!
