Fields Marked (*) are important
Just heard that the most controversial Punjabi Movie “Kaum De Heere” which was set to release worldwide on 23rd August 2014 has been banned. The film was passed by censor board but certain Hindu Organisations are against the release of this movie.
I think the ban is most likely going to benefit the movie and make it a very big success. Because of the ban the movie is being talked about in all the newspapers and online blogs, due to which it is gaining a lot of publicity which it wasn’t going to receive. The producers and directors of the movie are going to appeal in the court and the ban is most likely going to be lifted. So once the movie is released in India, Australia and rest of the world everyone will want to see this movie due to its popularity (Even though they never had the intention to see the movie in the first place).
Its a win win profit making formula for the film industry, make a controversial movie so that everyone talks about it, gain publicity, then release the movie and make money.
