Malai Kofta Curry- Cheese Balls In A Creamy Gravy
Oh wow!!! You really do need to watch this mouth watering You Tube video on how to make Malai Kofta Curry, I promise you wont be disappointed. I feel so inspired to make this dish this coming weekend, I really can’t wait!! I will also post the video on how to make the crunchy paneer balls, so look out for that one!

Ingredients
<ul>
<li>2-3 tablespoons of oil</li>
<li>1/2 a tablespoon of cumin seeds</li>
<li>1/4 teaspoon of tumeric</li>
<li>1/2- 1 cup of finely chopped onions</li>
<li>Some chopped cashews</li>
<li>1 teaspoon of ginger paste</li>
<li>1/2 teaspoon of garlic paste</li>
<li>Red chili powder to taste</li>
<li>Salt to taste</li>
<li>Garam masala to taste</li>
<li>Water</li>
<li>Pureed fresh or tinned tomatoes</li>
<li>2-3 bay leaves</li>
<li>1/4 cup of full cream</li>
</ul>
Directions
<ol>
<li>Add oil to a heated pan, then add the cumin seeds, tumeric and about half a cup of onions, stir well.</li>
<li>Add some chopped cashews, ginger paste, garlic paste and stir well. Saute onion until lightly golden brown.</li>
<li>Add some red chili powder to taste, some salt to suit your taste, stir well. Add some garam masala as well, to suit your taste stir well.</li>
<li>Once onions have browned add some water to cover ingredients and stir well.</li>
<li>Turn off the heat then use a hand blender, blend the gravy until nice and smooth.</li>
<li>Add some pureed tomatoes to the mixture to make the gravy, stir really well.</li>
<li>Add a little bit more water, only if needed.</li>
<li>Cover and allow to cook on a low heat, add 2 bay leaves into the gravy and allow to simmer.</li>
<li>Stir and add 1/4 a cup of cream.</li>
<li>Serve on plate, immediately before serving. Add the gravy on the plate, then add some cilantro, coriander leaves and some broken cashew nuts.</li>
<li>To finish of your dish, add a few malai kofta’s on top of the gravy.</li>
<li>Serve with rice and naan to complete your meal.</li>
