Nirmal Jena is a classical musician and composer who captures the attention of large audiences with the quality of his composition and performance. He is not only a virtuoso of traditional Indian ragas but is leading a vibrant contemporary musical movement by incorporating instruments and musicians from other traditions. Perhaps most interesting though, is the intention behind the performance which is to offer his music for healing and meditation. Nirmal will be accompanied by vocalists Aiswarjini Tripathy and Nancy Rahman, percussionist Tony Lewis and Mark Davies on harp.
