About us The Tikka Stand is a popular Indian street food stand operating in Canberra and surrounds. We pop up at events and festivals as well as providing catering services for functions and parties. We also have a our shop at the Australian National University Pop Up Village (University Av, City) We are looking for casual staff to join our dedicated and passionate team of foodies and experienced chefs. The job If you love food and are passionate about delivering the best service to our customers, then we would love to hear from you!
Your work with us will involve:
• preparing and handling delicious handmade food
• interacting and providing the best service to our customers
• set-up, pack-up and cleaning as required. What you will need
• enthusiasm, professionalism and an ability to work in a fast-paced food environment
• an understanding of health requirements and hygiene as it relates to food
• be available on a casual shift basis which includes working on weekends during the day/night
• experience using food equipment such as a barbeque and deep fryer or working in a kitchen environment is preferred.
