Are you studying, working on a craft project or just want some me-time but don’t have anyone to watch the kids ? Do you want incredibly affordable child care run by experienced, qualified staff ? Well look no further.. The Kalamunda Community Learning Centre Creche (a non-profit organisation) cares for children 6 weeks to 6 years old. We provide our creche service to enrolees of the centre, allowing them to learn or just have some me-time on the premises with the knowledge that their children are being looked after by our friendly staff. Children enjoy supervised craft activities and free play including a large outdoor playground and sandpit overlooking Jorgensen Park. Opening times : Monday to Friday 9.30 – 12.00 and 12.30 – 3.00 during school terms. Parents / Carers have access to free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee facilities. Or you may wish to enrol in one of our affordable courses - Our centre runs over 40 courses and fun activities for anyone wishing to learn a new subject or skill, meet new people and share their skills in a peaceful bush setting. Established in 1977, it has been a learning hub for people to continue their personal growth journey long after their school days are over. There are no exams, just a willingness to learn and share and you don't have to live in the Shire to join ! A sample of our courses - Knitting and Crochet, Embroidery for Pleasure, Clothing Construction. Tau Chi, Table Tennis, Walk for Exercise. Silversmithing, Pottery, Oil Painting. Italian, French, Indian cooking. Art History, Social History, Philosophy Discussion Group. Book Club, Write Your Life.
