Colors of India is a brand new Indian restaurant with an excellent modern kitchen set up located in Parramatta in Western Sydney.

We are seeking a highly motivated Restaurant manager. With a focus on growing our team we are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, passionate, and creative and always looking for ways to improve the customer experience and satisfaction.

We believe that food is something that can create an experience of immense satisfaction when served in the right way and ambiance. We are seeking personnel who share the same views and can start immediately.

To be successful in the role you should:
<ul>
<li>Have minimum of 4 to 5 years of recent relevant experience</li>
<li>Full time work rights (Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred)</li>
<li>Good communication and proven people management skills</li>
<li>Hold a current NSW RSA Certificate (Responsible Serving of Alcohol)</li>
<li>Able to work in a team as well as independently</li>
<li>Self-motivated, committed and pro-active</li>
<li>Have a keen interest in your role and business performance</li>
</ul>
You will be
<ul>
<li>managing the overall operations of the restaurant</li>
<li>managing the floor staff</li>
<li>achieving business goal to create an environment to enhance customer experience and satisfaction</li>
<li>hiring and firing staff in consultation with Chef and owner</li>
<li>planning a-la-carte and catering menus in consultation with Chef and owner</li>
<li>planning and organising special events</li>
<li>developing and managing catering business</li>
<li>managing restaurant operations within set budget</li>
<li>maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions</li>
<li>ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance</li>
<li>conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service</li>
<li>may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders</li>
<li>serve alcohol at the bar</li>
<li>train and mentor staff and work with head chef to achieve business goals</li>
</ul>
