Dr Devind Bhullar graduated in medicine in 1991 from the University of Tasmania.He trained in medicine and cardiology in Canberra, Queensland and at Fremantle Hospital and admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2001. He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at National Heart Centre, Singapore.His interests are in general cardiology, interventional cardiology and the management of acute and chronic coronary artery disease.Dr Bhullar also has special interests in preventative, nutritional and holistic medicine, having completed his Fellowship with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.His procedural skills include coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty and stenting, pacemaker implantation and transoesophageal echocardiography.Dr Bhullar is Director of the Cardiovascular Invasive Unit at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and helped set up the Cardiac Catheterisation Theatre and Interventional Service at Joondalup Health Campus.He consults with Western Cardiology in Applecross, Subiaco, Mount Lawley, Joondalup and Geraldton and visits St John of God Subiaco Hospital, St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
