Ustad Aminul Haque is a reputed music teacher, performer and musician. He performed in many national and international music conferences and concerts and first performance at Saroda Kala Kendra in Melbourne in 2004 and setup Raga Indian Music School in Melbourne. Aminul was awarded the Indian Govt, scholarship and completed his Bachelor and Masters Degree in Music from the Maharaja Syajirao University of Baroda. Side by side he studied different styles of Indian classic music from Shri Laxmikant Bapat (a disciple of Pt. Bhimsen Joshi of Kirana Style), Shri Dwarkanath Bhonsle, Prof. Basant Rao Ranade and other Gurus of Bhindi Bazar style of Ustad Aman Ali Khan when he was perusing his B Mus and M Mus degree. Aminul Completed Diploma in Music Teaching Course from Melbourne as well. He started learning Jaypur-Atrali Style/Gharana of Ustad Allahdya Khan under the guidance of Padmabhushan Smt. Kishori Amonkar in Mumbai after completing university degrees. He feels especially indebted to Ustad Phool Mohammad for a three years training on Taal, Laikari and Bolbat under a Ford Foundation Scholarship arranged by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. His qualifications include an associate of Music (Tabla) Diploma from the University of Bombay . Ustad Aminul Haque sings and teaches Khayal, Thumri, Ghazal, Hindi and Bengali songs and teaches Tabla, Harmonium and theory of Indian Music. He worked as music teacher in several well know music institutions including Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA), Sangeet Bhaban, Govt. Music College and Dhaka University since 1990. Aminul Haque is grade A Radio and Television artist in Bangladesh. He produced his first Nazrul song album directed by Biman Mukherjee of Kolkata in 1990. Some compositions of Aminul also have been sung by the two great singers Haimonti Shukla and Indrani Sen of Kolkata and his wife Nasreen Haque. Aminul won several awards when he studied at Chayanot under Ustad Shri Mithun De, Ustad Phool Muhammad, Smt Anjali Roy and Sohrab Hossain. Later Aminul Haque Migrated to Australia to settled in Melbourne with his wife Nasreen, who also a singer and music teacher. He founded a music and cultural organisation Gharana Music Circle to promote Bangla, Hindi and sub-continental Music in Melbourne. He likes to teach music with his experience as a professional music teacher especially for the new generation.
