Platinum Dholis was formed in 2007 with a talented group of dhol players. We have since consistently performed and toured with some of the biggest and most established artists in the international Bhangra music industry. These include: Jazzy B, Aman Hayer, RDB, Punjabi MC, Bally Sagoo, Dj Sanj, Dr Zeus, Sona Family, Lehmber Hussainpuri, Dj Aqeel, Dj APS, DJ MAC (Rishi Rich’s DJ), Jay Dhabi, Tigerstyle, Raghav, Delsonic, Notorious Jatt, Juggy D, Punjabi Hit Squad, Drumline Dholi’s, DJ Nihal (BBC Radio 1), Punjabi by Nature, H-Dhami
Platinum Dholis have worked and toured with local DJ’s and Bhangra teams from Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane Adelaide and Perth. Internationally we have travelled to the USA, Fiji, Canada and the UK.
Our performances include playing in some of the biggest venues in Australia such as Crown Casino, Luna Park, Fox Studios, Bathers Pavilion, Price Waterhouse, Hilton Hotel, Westin Hotel, CAFE Sydney, Paddington Town Hall, Art Gallery, Rosehill Racecourse, Darling Harbour and Homebush Sports Centre.
Continuous successful stand out acts have led us to be played on the airwaves and on various TV stations such as SBS, TVS, Foxtel and also included in Bollywood commercials.
Not only do we electrify our performances with pure bhangra music but we incorporate a unique blend of western music with traditional Punjabi folk base. In essence, Platinum Dholis are a group of highly skilled and energetic Dhol players that are truly passionate musicians who have a strong commitment to providing all customers with an unforgettable performance.
