Dr Sudipta Sarker

Sudipta accomplished his MBBS from Delhi University, New Delhi, India in 1997. After graduating Sudipta completed his residency in Accident and Emergency; Ear, Nose and Throat department; Ophthamology; Nephrology; and General Medicine. He has also worked in one of the state of the art medical facilities in his home country.
In 2005 Sudipta obtained Fellowship in Emergency Medicine from the renowned Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, India. He later relocated to Australia after being directly recruited as one of the Senior Emergency Doctors at Griffith Base Hospital in 2007. Before moving to the scenic Manning Valley region Sudipta worked at Gosford Hospital for 4 years. This included working in the Emergency, Cardiology, ENT, Paediatrics and Gynaecology departments.
Along with working at the Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre Sudipta also works as a Career Medical Officer in the Emergency Department at Manning Rural Referral Hospital, Taree. His special interests include Paediatrics; Eye, Ear and Throat diseases; various Minor Procedures; Acute Medicine; and Chronic Disease Management. Sudipta loves enjoying a relaxed coastal lifestyle with family and friends and is actively involved in various voluntary works with the Rotary Club.
