Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Pushpani practiced as a Research Officer at Australian National University.</p>  <p>Pushpani obtained her medical degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in Sri Lanka, and a Master of Health Science and Neuroscience from University of Texas at Arlington, USA. Pushpani also holds an AMC certificate and an FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors.
