I am caring, thorough and organized and believe in providing long term, stable and sustainable healthcare to all my patients. I have a strong interest in mental health, paediatrics, obstetrics/gynaecology, chronic health conditions, asthma, diabetes, indigenous and elderly health care. I have completed post graduate Diplomas in Paediatrics and Obstetrics / Gynaecology and use this knowledge daily in general practice. I enjoy and feel very privileged to be a GP. I develop strong rapport and trust with my patients and I aim to keep myself and my patients as happy and healthy for as long as possible. I believe in preventative health and keep very active myself by participating in regular sporting activities including attending the gym, surfing, Wing Chun Kung Fu, swimming, cycling and adventure trekking. In 2015 I trekked The Inca Trail with the burns survivor Turia Pitt and fundraised for a surgical organisation called Interplast. They provide free surgical procedures to people with congenital/acquired deformities in countries in the Asia-Pacific region with limited healthcare. I trekked in Borneo in 2017 and fundraised for The Orangutan Project who provide funds for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orangutans back into protected forests in Borneo and Sumatra. In 2018 I trekked to the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania and also fundraised for The Orangutan Project.
