<p>General Practitioner, Female<BR></p>             <p>Dr Rekha Jayram Rao qualified in India in 1980 and spent five years working there as a medical officer. After relocating to Australia in 1985 she worked at St George Hospital followed by some time working in Psychiatry and Therapy before moving into general practice in 1991. She has been practicing as a GP since. Rekha has a special interest in a range of areas, such as aged care, antenatal care, cardiology, chronic disease management, infectious disease and paedicatrics. Her interests further include mental health, orthopaedics, pain management, reproductive medicine, respiratory medicine and sexual health. Rekha also has an interest in minor injuries and surgery as well as occupational health and medicals.
