He obtained his medical qualifications including a MD in General Medicine in India. He subsequently moved to the UK in 2002 and trained in various medical specialties before qualifying as a GP in 2009. He relocated to the Gold Coast in 2014.</p>  <p>He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and Royal College of Physicians in the UK. He is actively involved in training medical students and GP Registrars and is an examiner with the Royal College of General Practitioners.</p>  <p>He has an extensive medical background having worked in both India and the UK with people across a range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
