Dr. Shima Tajik completed her Doctor of Medicine in 2002 in Iran. She moved to Australia in 2009 with her family. Since then, she has been working as a General Practitioner in rural areas of Tasmania and in rural/metropolitan areas in Melbourne. S he has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) since 2012. She is an affiliated GP to the department of General Practice, Monash University. As a GP supervisor, she provides clinical teaching and supervision to medical students at Clayton Road Doctors and Centre Road Medical Centre. She has also been an examiner of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
