Dr Anam Kamran is a general practitioner with diverse clinical experience, having served regional and metro areas in WA, including work at an Aboriginal medical service. Dr Kamran topped the Australian College of General Practitioners' exam and was nominated for WA Registrar of the year. Before GP training, she worked at Royal Perth Hospital, where she was nominated for the Goatcher Award, for best exemplifying the hospital's Servio (service) motto. She graduated with top position from King Edward Medical University and received multiple awards in Clinical Medicine. Dr Kamran plans to build on these principles of academic excellence and holistic patient-centred care, now that she is joining the team at St John Cockburn. She enjoys the variety that general practice presents and the privilege of developing a caring, long-term therapeutic alliance with her patients. Outside her work , she enjoys reading playing table tennis and travelling
Dr Anam Kamran privately bills on weekends, Public Holidays, as well as Tuesday to Friday between 8am-9am and from 4.30pm onwards.
