<p>General Medical Practitioner, Female<BR></p>             <p>Celia is a mother of 2 young children who is currently completing her qualifications as a GP obstetrician. She completed her medical degree at the University if Queensland in 2008. Prior to deciding to pursue medicine, she obtained a Bachelor Degree in Science and Commerce also at the University of Queensland.   After finishing medical school, she discovered her interest in women’s health and went on to complete five years of speciality training in obstetrics and gynaecology. In 2017, she made the decision to follow her husband back to his home town in Perth and refocus her priorities to work life balance and being a mother.  Since that time, she has been working as a career medical officer in obstetrics and gynaecology at Joondalup Hospital, a GP obstetrician at Bentley Hospital, a GP obstetrician at the founding One for Women practice in Midland and more recently a GP obstetrician at Western Obstetrics in Midland/Osborne Park. In addition to this, she is working towards completing the general practitioner speciality component across two sites under the Mead Medical banner.  Celia is passionate about every aspect of women’s health and providing women with equitable access to all available resources, information and health care providers. Her current aspirations include having another child, providing care to women with a holistic approach at all stages of their life and locuming in remote areas of Western Australia to bridge the gap in health care provision for women.</p>            <H2>Interests</H2><ul>               <li>Obstetrics</li>               <li>Gynaecology</li>           </ul>
