<p>General Practitioner, Female<BR></p>             <p>Dr Indu Vetrivel joins us from a GP clinic in Bathurst. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) in her home country India before immigrating to England where she completed her post-graduate qualifications. She lived and worked in the UK for 12 years. Whilst in the UK she worked as an associate tutor at the University of East Anglia, became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and Gynaecology (DRCOG) as well as a Diploma in Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH). She is trained in performing insertion and removals of subcutaneous implants and intrauterine devices (Implanon & Mirena's).  Prior to relocating to Mackay she has undergone advanced obstetrics training and gynaecology training in Bathurst Base Hospital. </p>  <p>Dr Indu Vetrivel has a warm nature and places importance on providing a nurturing, supportive environment for her patients. She feels privileged and excited to serve the local community of Mackay as a GP.  She has relocated to Mackay with her husband and two children. Her Husband is an anaesthetist/intensivist working at Mackay Base Hospital.
