Dr Hussain graduated from The University of Manchester in 2008. He has since gained a wide breadth of experience and worked in a variety of medical and surgical specialities in the UK. After undertaking further surgical training he obtained MRCS in 2011. He completed his GP training in 2015 and was awarded GP trainee of the year. He has completed a Masters of Research (in Public Health). He has received numerous awards for his research work at International Conferences. He is passionate about Humanitarian Medicine, having undertaken volunteer work in Nepal &Malawi. He prides himself in being caring, approachable and skilled in all areas of GP. He has particular interests in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Minor Surgery, Chronic Disease Management & Child Health. He can consult in English, Urdu and Punjabi. Outside of work Dr Hussain enjoys the outdoors, playing cricket and long distance running.
Dr Abubakr Hussain privately bills on weekends, Public Holidays, as well as Monday to Friday between 8am-9am and from 4.30pm onwards.
