For Dr Rahman, being a GP has always meant providing compassionate holistic care across the whole field of General Practice. She graduated medical school from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and worked in Melbourne’s western hospitals before choosing specialty training in General Practice.
Dr Rahman has a special interest in Women’s Health and completed her DRANZCOG diploma in 2014, awarded for obtaining further skills in obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Rahman offers family and pregnancy planning and contraception advice and is accredited for Implanon insertions. She is also an accredited shared antenatal care provide and performs postnatal and neonatal checks to make sure you and your baby are doing well.
Dr Rahman provides Sexual Health appointments, including prescription of PrEP.
Outside of work she chases after her energetic toddler and enjoys photography, painting, sewing and cooking delicious meals for her family.
