<p>General Practitioner, Male<BR></p>             <p>Dr Jayath Vidanage is originally from Sri Lanka. Whilst there he was awarded a scholarship which enabled him to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at Comenius University in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia in 1991. He migrated to Australia with his family in 1994 and has been working in the Australian health system since February 1996.</p>  <p>He has previously worked in both public and private hospitals in Australia and has spent time as a Registrar in Psychiatry and as a Registrar in Rehabilitation Medicine at various health facilities throughout the country. His interest in General Practice began in 2001 and he has been working exclusively in this field of General Practice since 2008.</p>  <p>He obtained his FRACGP in 2010. He has special interest in the fields of pain management, rehabilitation and mental health.</p>  <p>His hobbies include cricket, music and supporting the Crows.
