Dr Syed Hasnat, FRACGP had been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) since 2001. Before moving to Sydney Dr Hasnat worked as a general practitioner in Melbourne. He has also worked in Adelaide and Darwin and various regional areas in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia. Dr Hasnat has completed his Diploma in Child Health from Woman’s and Children Hospital, Adelaide and achieved his fellowship examination from The Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (RACGP). Dr Hasnat teaches doctors who sit in their fellowship examination, medical students and other health professionals. He enjoys teaching both in undergraduate and postgraduate level and is also involved in various research activities in general practice. Dr Hasnat is a passionate General Practitioner in Sydney who enjoys all aspects of general practice with particular focus on: chronic disease management (diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, brain and nervous system, lung and kidney disease), Musculoskeletal conditions (joint pains and sport injuries), skin checks and skin cancer management and advanced skin procedures, Qualified to Implanon insertion and removal, Mirena removal, family planning and sexual health, child health, men’s health, occupational health and work medical, emergency management, disease of elderly people and nursing home care and home visits to his patient.
