General Practitioner, Male
I have been working as a rural doctor around Bendigo since 2013. After obtaining my medical degree from Monash University in 2012, I worked at Bendigo Hospital in specialty areas before gaining experience in child and adolescent care to pursue this special interest. I worked as a Paediatric Registrar for 18 months at Bendigo Hospital, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital, caring for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents while completing the Diploma in Child Health (DCH). Following this, I began my post-graduate specialist GP training and worked in Castlemaine and Bendigo, eventually gaining a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). As part of my career path to become a Rural Generalist, in 2018, I worked part-time in the Emergency Department of Bendigo Hospital to complete the Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) through the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
I enjoy all aspects of medicine with special interests in child and adolescent health, men's health, acute medicine and emergency care, preventative health, and therapeutic procedures including musculoskeletal injections and minor skin surgeries. I embrace my adventurous side in my free time and disappear to go camping, road-tripping, hiking, wake-boarding or paragliding.
