Falak was born in Pakistan and studied medicine in Ayub Medical College Abbottabad graduating in 2005. After completing her internship, Falak moved to Australia with her husband. Falak completed most of her formal medical training in Australia, and along with her Royal Australian College of GP Fellowship, she also completed her Advanced Diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology. Falak has extensive experience in obstetrics gained throughout her professional clinical career and is passionate about women’s health and wellbeing. Falak has worked for a number of years in regional and rural Australia including three states namely Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia. She has been enriched, by firsthand experience, of Australian multiculturalism and working and living within diverse communities.
In her leisure time, Falak has a passion for cooking and spending time with her family. She follows tennis and runs to keep fit.
