Dr Dhaliwal graduated from the University of New South Wales, Sydney in 2007 and moved to Perth in 2010. She then upskilled her paediatric skills with a Diploma in Child Health and spent a few years working in Princess Margaret Hospital. She started working in general practice in 2014 and was awarded her Fellowship in General Practice in 2017.
Dr Dhaliwal enjoys working in all aspects of general practice from acute illnesses, routine immunisations, lifestyle medicine, chronic diseases, preventive medicine as well as travel medicine. In particular, she has an interest in the paediatric population from newborns to teenagers. She also has a keen interest in Women’s health and is happy to be involved in family planning. Mental health is another big area of interest for Dr Dhaliwal and she is able to create a management plan with a patient centred focus.
